Miniature Earth at Your Desktop

Right now, I’ve have a very sweet screen saver at my desktop that I wanna share with you all out there. It’s a reminder of how lucky you are if you have the minimal-s. Head to miniature world and view there flash animation, which shows facts and statistics of the world if the population would shrunk to 100 people. And here’s the steps for making it as your screen saver without paying $5 (although the stand alone version features full screen):

  1. Use Mozilla Firefox to view the flash animation page. I’m not sure whether IE does that too, but Firefox is a sure bet. Save the page to somewhere and view the folder, which is named http://www.miniature-earth.com, if you haven’t change the name.
  2. There’s a folder called DEFAULT_REDIRECT_S_data that contains me_main.swf file. That’s the flash file. Download this .swf to screensaver program.
  3. Install and run and go to add files and find that me_main.swf and select it. And voila~, it’s done. Be sure to check the option for skip interaction at option page.

Enjoy.
